The Mister Freedom® Skipper Jacket comes raw/unwashed, and will shrink to tagged size. Follow the usual recommended initial method before wearing: cold soak for 30mn, spin dry and line dry. Please refer to sizing chart to determine which size works for you.

CL's Advice: I wear a size 38 (medium) Skipper, my usual size in mfsc, with enough room for a light shirt and denim jacket/sweater underneath if needed.

Machine wash on delicate, cold water, minimal eco-friendly detergent. Turn inside-out. Line dry only.

An original mfsc pattern, the Skipper Jacket is a hybrid combining 50’s-60’s US military gear and 1970’s mountain parka outdoor-type jackets.

We borrowed the cargo pocket pattern from a 1st pattern Tropical Combat Jacket adding ultra-hi-tech Velcro® closures. Another military reference is the heavy “Crown” zipper, often featured on field gear in the 1960’s.

Details such as the snap wind-flaps, two-tone hood, leather pull toggles, gusseted wrist cuffs is a nod to 60/40 mountain parka types of 1960’s-70’s.

This MF® garment is designed in California by Mister Freedom® and manufactured in Japan by Sugar Cane Co.
