The MF® RANCH BLOUSE features a period-inspired natural-waist, boxy silhouette that stays true to classic workwear jackets of the 1930s through the 1950s.

This garment comes raw and unwashed. Before wearing, we recommend an initial cold soak for approximately 30 minutes, followed by a spin cycle and line drying. As this fabric is unsanforized, expect the garment to shrink to the tagged measurements after the recommended soak.

Please refer to the garment measurement chart and compare it with a similar jacket you own that fits you well. Consider your preferred layering when selecting a size.

For personalized sizing assistance, please contact sales@misterfreedom.com. Include your body type and measurements, preferred silhouette, and, when available, measurements from a similar garment that fits the way you like.

Hand wash or machine wash on DELICATE in cold water using a minimal amount of mild, eco-friendly detergent.

Turn the garment inside out before washing to minimize marbling of the denim. Line dry only.

Do not use the washer's heavy-duty cycle. A heated dryer is not recommended and may result in excessive or irreversible shrinkage.

This exclusive unsanforized denim is designed to fade gracefully, developing a rich patina according to the owner's activities, frequency of wear, and laundering choices.

The MF® RANCH BLOUSE has a definite 1930s–1940s flair, featuring the traditional bells and whistles of early “Type I” jackets, including a pleated front and buckle back.

On vintage workwear jackets, front pleats were not intended as a fashion statement, but rather served as functional expansion pleats. The stitching simply kept the pleats in place and could be removed by the wearer should additional room through the chest be needed. In later years, front pleats on fashion denim jackets often became purely decorative, stitched down, riveted, or concealed beneath patch pockets. We chose to preserve their original function in our 2011 Ranch Blouse design, securing them with the signature MF® arrowhead-shaped dart stitching.

This “DC” edition is cut from an exclusive 12 Oz. premium selvedge denim milled in Japan and faithfully replicated from a 1950s New Old Stock pair of Dee-Cee jeans. The distinctive rusty brown warp and natural weft were selected for their vintage appearance and are designed to develop exceptional character and patina with years of wear.
